"Using Middle America as her muse, Kowch draws the history of a particular place -- invariably rural -- to the surface as it collides with a new reality in layers of metaphor and moodiness. The faces of her women may remind you of characters in a Tim Burton film."

First off, love your stuff, Andrea. I follow it lovingly. I'm a digital artist looking to return to her traditional roots. How do you find galleries with group shows? Or really, calls-for-entry in general! I kinda don't know where to flop around...thanks in advance!

Thank you! If you do a general Google search for art calls-for-entry, a bunch of sites should come up. There are lots of different ones such as the art list, which has a slew of listings for various different things depending on what you are looking for. Hope that helps!
